I Made My Goal!

I had another big goal this year and with your help, I was able to achieve it!  I reached just over $10,000 in Cub Scout popcorn sales for the 2012 Fall Sale.  This is my 4th year as being #1 in Gamehaven Council.  This year the Council started a $10,000 VIP Club and I earned my way in.  I got some pretty cool rewards t00 – a club jacket, a club hat, a special trophy, and best of all…A ROBOTICS LEGO SET!!!  It was a surprise and I was SO excited when I saw it.

Gamehaven Council had a special party for all the boys in the Council that sold over $1,000 at Chuck E. Cheese’s.  It was fun to celebrate and hang out with my Cub Scout Friends.

Thanks again for all your support and stay tuned for other updates to come.

Updating My Goal Chart

Updating My Goal Chart

One of the things that helps to keep me motivated to reach my sales goal is my goal chart.  I can see each day how much I did and how much more I have to go.  It is fun to color it in and see the goal getting closer.

Earning Webelo Achievements

My Den and I worked very hard this summer at our overnight camp.  We earned three of our Webleo requirements and are well on our way to a successful Scouting year.

This picture was in the Rochester Post Bulletin to promote Scouting in my local area.  My dad earned his Eagle Scout rank at the age of 15.  Maybe I will too!

Graduating to Webelo Scout

Webelos Badge

On May 19th, Pack 498 had it’s graduation ceremony at Oxbow Park in Rochester, MN.  Unfortunately, my mom got some awful pictures so you’ll have to take my word that I did indeed graduate to become a Webleo Scout.  I’ve heard that it’s a lot more work at this rank, but I’m looking forward to another fun year with my friends in Den 5!

Thanks From the Ronald McDonald House

Thank You Inside

The Ronald McDonald House in Rochester, MN sent me a thank you for donating the gift cards on April 27th.  I’m sure they will put them to good use.

Donating Gift Cards to Ronald McDonald House

When I received my Top Sales award from Gamehaven Council, they also gave me two $50 gift cards to donate to a non-profit organization in the 7-county area that Gamehaven serves.  It had to be an organization that helps kids.  I wanted the money to help kids who have cancer so I chose the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester.
